Dr. Helina Fikre Tamiru

Dr. Helina Fikre Tamiru is a Medical Doctor, Clinical Researcher, and Public Health Professional with experience in clinical research and healthcare. She serves as the Managing Director of WellPath Health Consultancy, providing leadership in clinical research, capacity building, and evidence-based healthcare initiatives.

Dr. Helina has extensive experience in Phase II and Phase III drug and vaccine clinical trials, serving in roles including Investigator and Study Coordinator. Her expertise spans clinical trials, observational studies, and diagnostic research, with a strong track record in study implementation, participant management, research operations, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

She is also an experienced trainer and mentor, delivering training in clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), research ethics, study coordination, and research. She has extensive expertise in leishmaniasis research and training, having contributed to clinical care, research, capacity building, and public health initiatives in Ethiopia.
